Thanks for checking out our website. We know there are a lot of screenplay consultant sites out there, and yet you're here. Which begs the question-- "Why?"
Of all the jobs in Hollywood, no one has it harder than the screenplay writer. (Except Will Ferrel's body waxer-- that's one tough gig!) I know the pit of despair that writers experience, and I know how elusive a great script can be. I also recall the joy that I felt when I finally started getting a sense of how to write the damn things. (I was on my third screenplay, by the way.) I know these things, because I'm a writer, too.
I think notes from a writer are essential. A development executive may know your script is missing something, but he may not know what it needs or how to get it. It's not their fault-- it's a different profession (one that pays). Your notes should not limit themselves to structural holes, but should extend to the mechanics on how to fill them. My twenty years experience, not only writing but working with writers, puts me in a unique position to improve not just your script, but your craft as well.
And along the way, I fully expect to become a better writer, because of my association with you. And for that, you have my undying gratitude and support.
Now, back to work...
