Frequently Asked Questions
What is your turn around time?
All notes are guaranteed to be provided for you within 7-10 business days of receipt. However, we pride ourselves on speediness, and you'll often receive your notes just a few days after you send your script. Can you do rush orders? Absolutely. All of our services can be provided within 24 hours for an additional $75 fee. Do you work with international clients? Yes. We work with people all over the world. However, we only accept scripts written in English. What kind of file should I use when I submit my script? We accept Final Draft, Movie Outline, and PDFs. |

I don't know which service I should order. What should I do? Can someone help me decide?
Email [email protected] and we'll help you find the package that's right for your project.
Do you write coverage?
Script Quack is not a coverage service. We will not bore you with a synopsis of your script. Instead, every page of notes will be jam packed with honest, constructive feedback and ideas. Along those lines, we are qualified to give your script a "Pass/Consider/Recommend" rating, there are services that specialize in this and we'd be happy to give you a recommendation if needed.
Is there a page limit?
Yes. Although we recognize that script length can vary widely, all of our services only cover scripts up to 120 pages, no longer. After 120 pages, we charge and extra $1 per page. So if your script is 180 pages, there would be an extra fee of $60 in addition to the original cost of you script analysis.
I'm nervous. Can't you steal my idea? What if you do!?
Script Quack will never claim your work as their own. However, if you're serious about your script, you should absolutely register it with the WGA. You can register your work online here: www.wgawregistry.org/webrss/. Reach the WGA by phone at: (323) 782-4540 on the West Coast, (212) 757-4360 on the East Coast.
What if I don't like my script notes?
Script Quack fully supports all of the script notes that are provided for our clients. We are experienced professionals, and we give every script careful, serious thought.
It can sometimes be difficult to handle constructive criticism. We all want our work to be flawless. But the writer that can understand and integrate notes into their piece, is the writer that succeeds. Use the notes the resonate with you and ditch the rest, and you'll come out with a far improved draft.
If you still think the notes provided by Script Quack are unsatisfactory, please email us detailed examples of the problems with the service. Of course, if you can demonstrate that the service wasn't satisfactory, we'll provide a full refund.
